WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program
The program presents excellent learning opportunities through a wide variety of ambulatory and inpatient experiences, including obstetrics. The 3-year residency training program in Family Medicine at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital offers ample opportunities for enhancing excellent clinical care, advancing the Program, developing faculty members, and training the next generation of family physicians! We are affiliated with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Our Program is fully accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and currently in Pre-Accreditation status with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), awaiting Review Committee results in late 2017. This is an unopposed 6-6-6 program. Residents and faculty care for patients at a busy urban family medicine center, a rural primary care center, and at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. About the Position
The Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
Develop, communicate, and implement the vision and direction for the Residency Program.
Lead the clinical, educational, administrative, and professional efforts of the Program’s residents and faculty members.
Ensure high quality clinical and didactic education for residents.
Ensure compliance with all required accreditation requirements for the Residency Program.
Provide support for training and development of key clinical/procedural skills.
