RN - Quality Outcomes Analyst - Lewes, DE
Location: Lewes, Delaware
Monday-Friday: 8A-5P; Can include occasional nights, evenings, and weekends.
Specific knowledge related to quality, utilization, performance improvement and regulatory requirements preferred.
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
CPHQ, Lean/Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.
Registered Nursing License. Nurse or related healthcare professional. Current RN License in State of DE preferred, but not required.
Minimum of three years’ experience/education in healthcare.
Ability to articulate complex quality measures, interpret Value Based Purchasing/CMS & TJC requirements; analyze data and make the analysis meaningful to the leadership team, staff and the providers; ability to facilitate teams and/or committee to achieve required results; ability to manage multiple projects and handle change throughout the process.
Proficiency in multiple Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrate emotional maturity and stability.
Demonstrates personal commitment to quality, safety and a highly reliable organization.
The Quality Systems Analyst is responsible to educate the leadership and health care team on quality measures, provide internal consulting services with appropriate leadership, team members and the medical staff, assess and monitor ongoing compliance for Meaningful Use and electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) as it relates to the Electronic Health Record quality measures; Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Measures; The Joint Commission Quality Measures and Board initiatives on an ongoing basis. The Analyst will be expected to collect/analyze data from the electronic health record, outside data bases and/or observe staff to collect appropriate data for presentations to the leadership team, Nursing OPPE and Provider OPPE for failed measures. Supports performance improvement initiatives related to Value Based Purchasing, Quality Measures, Board indicatives, RCAs, FMEAS, and ongoing survey readiness. Lead and/or members on RCA, FMEAs, committees and other related projects.
