Integral Consulting Inc. (www.integral-corp.com) is an international science and engineering firm providing multidisciplinary services in the fields of health, environment, technology, and sustainability. We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant- or Associate-Level Engineer for our Seattle, WA office.
This is an entry/junior-level position for candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience conducting environmental investigation and remedial design. Qualified candidates should have at least a B.S. degree in environmental, civil, geotechnical, or related engineering field, with an E.I.T registration (or near-term goal of obtaining an E.I.T). Applicants should have coursework or work experience related to contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment, and/or surface water investigations, remediation, and engineering. Knowledge of sediment investigation and remediation techniques and stormwater sampling and treatment methods and associated regulatory requirements are highly desired. Construction oversight experience is also a plus. Successful candidates will have demonstrated ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams to produce high quality work products. Candidates shall also exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to identify and resolve problems associated with remediation projects. ArcGIS and AutoCAD skills are also highly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities may include site characterization studies, feasibility studies, numerical modeling, engineering analysis, preparation of design plans and specifications, permitting support, construction monitoring, technical support on litigation or allocation matters, and project management.
