The College of Arts & Sciences at Indiana Tech is seeking an experienced psychologist or mental health counselor to fill a tenure-track psychology faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor for its online Master of Science in Psychology program. The psychology department provides general education coursework as well as a B.S. in Psychology, B.S. in Human Services, B.S. in Child Development, and a M.S. in Psychology. This is a 9 month annually renewable position with an appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor beginning Fall 2018.
Teaching 4 online graduate psychology courses each semester
Advising students and fostering relationships with students both in and out of the classroom
Mentoring part-time faculty teaching in the program
Participating in program assessment
Fulfilling service and professional development requirements as outlined in the tenure process
Terminal degree in Psychology, Counselor Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the mental health profession
Currently hold or be eligible for licensure in Indiana
Candidates with a student-centered focus and a strong interest in working with first-year and first-generation students will be viewed favorably.

Applicants should demonstrate a capacity for high quality teaching, evidenced by teaching evaluations, if available.
