Company in Northeast United States is currently looking for a Plant Manager to lead all production activities in a commercial laundry facility.
This leader manages all aspects of plant operations. Including but not limited to personnel, productivity, safety compliance, quality, production planning, equipment operation and departmental communication. Additional focuses to include financial budgeting, forecasting, vendor negotiations, plant improvements, cost reduction and more.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Manage Production Managers (one on each shift – 2) scope of responsibilities.
Ensure safe operation and work environment at all times
Ensure a quality product is delivered to all customers
Drive productivity and cost efficiencies through daily management on the floor and continual process improvement
Plan, hire, staff, and manage production employees on multiple shifts, using progressive discipline system
Manage departmental employees to perform scope of responsibilities in an efficient and safe manner
Manage and execute all Human Resource function as it relates to plant operations and functions.
Manage product inventory and purchases within budgetary parameters.
Provide production reporting to all company executives as needed.
Maintain and assure all company programs are executed and policies adhered to.
Execute weekly team production meetings.
Manage and assure plant is operating within OSHA, BBP and Universal Precaution guidelines and standards according to company policy, in partnership with Chief Engineer
Maintain communication channels with Service Department, Maintenance Department, Administration and Sales.
Works a varying schedule, including some nights and occasional weekends. Approx 50 hours/week.

Must have 5 years’ experience in plant management
Industrial laundry or medical linen processing experience highly preferable
5 years industry knowledge
College degree or high school diploma with prior experience
