The Director of the Clinical Research Support Center will provide administrative, financial and operational oversight of institutional clinical research programs to ensure optimum performance in accordance with the strategic vision of the Office of Clinical Research Administration. Areas of focus include:
Regulatory Compliance, including federal audit facilitations
Directs day-to-day operations of the CRSC
Oversight of auditing and quality assurance monitoring of clinical research protocols to ensure compliance with IRB approved protocol, FDA regulations, institutional policies and guidelines for good clinical practice.
Human Resource Management
The ideal candidate will have seven years' experience in clinical research operations in the academic medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research industry. A minimum of five years' management experience and comprehensive knowledge of federal regulations is also required. Expertise in regulatory affairs is strongly preferred as is auditing/monitoring experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
