An award winning Geotechnical & Environmental consulting firm seeks a Hydrogeologist, for its San Ramon, CA office location.
**This is NOT an internship.

The Hydrogeologist will be responsible for providing a high level of support to clients and the consultants in the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice involving geologic and hydrogeologic analyses, evaluation of contaminant transport and fate, environmental forensics, and evaluation of remedial actions. The Hydrogeologist will manage multiple projects while also providing technical analysis, interpretation and client interaction.
Working with various types of hydrologic, engineering and hydrogeologic data
Peer review and oversee transient, basin-scale numerical flow and solute transport models development and utilization
Project management including direction of junior staff, providing technical review and oversight and mentoring
Report and proposal preparation including scopes of work, project budgeting, tracking, and schedules
Client interaction and presentations
Oversee data collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation including:
Familiarity with on-line sources of hydrologic, hydrogeologic, and geologic data and documents
Familiarity with field groundwater level and quality data collection methods
Geologic and hydrogeologic cross-section development utilizing geologic and geophysical data
Geospatial and geostatistical analysis
Interpretation of subsurface aquifer conditions on a site and regional scale
Development of water budgets
Hydrographs and other graphic presentation of hydrogeologic data
MUST HAVE MS or Ph.D in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Related Field.
MUST HAVE 7+ years of professional work experience in groundwater resources
Must have Strong technical knowledge and background in groundwater resources in California.
