We are looking to add a Transportation Analyst to our team in Los Angeles, CA. Focusing on a wide variety of transportation systems including development and application of performance metrics, mining and application of historical and real-time transportation systems data, development and application of simulation programs, Transportation System Management and Operations, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), this individual will have the opportunity to manage and contribute to projects locally and at the national level. Working within a growing market, the Transportation Analyst will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients such at LA Metro, Ports, subregional COGs, Caltrans, the City of LA and others on a variety of projects. S/he will be responsible for composing and assessing multimodal performance measures, implementing travel time reliability, developing models and assessing model results and evaluating mobility performance on roadways and other modal systems. The position is responsible for conducting research and performing analyses on the impacts and benefits of transportation investments and Federal and state research to improve operational performance. Preparation of documents, reports, memos and presentations is also an important part of the position
