Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality Management is responsible for researching and developing Supplier Quality Management standards, processes and tools to assist with the implementation of Supplier qualification and management systems.
The position requires the ability to collaboratively work with clients across a variety of industries to understand their supplier qualification processes and provide solutions for facilitating the supplier prequalification and management effort through ISNetworld.
This position requires the employee to possess advanced technical knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related regulatory standards, be self-motivated, and be willing to assist with all of the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Acts as the Supplier Quality Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Client and Supplier/Contractor meetings across Company locations
Research and develop supplier prequalification and performance management systems, processes and tools
Manage projects related to supplier quality management initiatives
Assist Hiring Clients and suppliers/contractors with supplier quality management-related questions
Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the Company to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSEQ
Reviews existing internal quality management system policies and practices of the Company to ensure they are current and appropriate
Conducts hazard and risk assessments and develops new recommendations from these assessments
Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives
All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, ISN Management or their Supervisor
Stays abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position
Up to 30% travel domestically and internationally for customer meetings
Other tasks and projects as directed by executive management team
Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline
Knowledge and Skills
4+ years’ experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering and Management role
Demonstrated success in supplier qualification, performance monitoring and certification initiatives
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Auditor or other certifications from the American Society for Quality preferred
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and ISO 9001 Auditing Experience preferred
Knowledge in FDA (Food and Drug Administration) quality standards and/or Oil and Gas industry regulations a plus
Proficient in the use of electronic systems and software (MS Office, supplier management tools / portals) desired. Familiarity with supplier management and procurement software tools a plus.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal presentations
Able to make independent decisions without supervisory assistance
Maintains in-depth working knowledge of ISNetworld systems and processes
Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
Demonstrated high attention to detail
Physical and Safety Requirements
Sitting, bending, standing, walking, typing and/or speaking 8 hours per day
Able to regularly lift and move up to 15 lbs.

Additional Salary Information: Annual Target Incentive Range: $14,000 - $20,000*
Total Potential Annual Salary: $94,000 - $100,000
*Target incentives are paid at intervals determined by Executive Management and are based on eligibility and collections thresholds. Incentives are typically paid in the last month of the calendar year.
