| The NJ Hospital Association is seeking individual to coordinate and manage assigned projects and activities related to healthcare emergency preparedness. Responsibilities include monitoring healthcare field to identify potential topics and issues related specifically to healthcare Emergency Preparedness. Coordinates the dissemination of information related to identified topics. Coordinates, manage and support internal and external meetings, providing follow up to department members and constituents. Assists in developing tools and resources as well as coordinating the implementation of initiatives and programs. Ensures activities required in grant documents are completed on time. Tracks all projects to ensure compliance with requirements and deadlines. Reviews regional EP coalition documents and NJHA EP activities to develop HRET Board Reports to meet NJDOH / ASPR requirements. Tracks all expenses both internal and external. Ensures expenses are received by Accounting within grant timeframes. Obtains estimated costs to develop new proposals. Coordinate with staff and outside vendors / consultants as needed for EP projects. Will assist in monitoring legislation introduced at both a state and federal level related to EP, identifying issues requiring policy clarification, and gathering information and providing EP legislative updates. Qualifications include minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in emergency preparedness preferably in healthcare. Must have experience in project implementation/management, report writing and grant proposal preparation. Familiarity with emergency preparedness in healthcare facilities as well as regulatory and accreditation agencies emergency preparedness requirements. Knowledge of emergency preparedness requirements from ASPR, NFPA, JC, CMS, OSHA, PHEP / CDC, and other agencies that regulate, mandate or provide best practices for emergency preparedness in healthcare. |
