| The Department of Radiology at the University of Washington is seeking a full time, faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor to join the Body Imaging section. The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities for interpreting body ultrasound, computed tomography, Fluoroscopy and/or MRI. In addition, faculty members will have the opportunity to staff tumor boards and related conferences to help the patients and clinicians and build their reputation with the clinicians. Teaching of residents and fellows is a large part of the Section’s mission. |
Clinical Ultrasound is an active service that enjoys close relationships with all departments in the hospital, including high-risk obstetrical and transplantation patients. State of the art wide-detector and dual energy CT and multiple new 1.5T plus 3T MR perform all aspects of abdominal and thoracic imaging. Fluoroscopy work includes bariatric patients and urology patients as well. Body Imaging interventions enjoys dedicated facilities and staff – its own multi-slice CT, two dedicated ultrasound rooms, dedicated physician assistants, nursing, scheduling, and support staff.

Candidates for this position must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent, be board certified in radiology or foreign equivalent, and have a strong desire for a career in academic radiology. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a medical license in the state of Washington. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
