The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in one of the disciplines of the department, with preference given to qualified candidates with the ability to teach within the department, and those with recent experience in higher education. ESU is seeking a candidate with a background that includes administrative experience, evidence of quality teaching, scholarship (including grant writing), service to university and community, and knowledge and/or experience with national accreditation. Candidates should provide evidence of successful experience growing academic programs, collaboration, teaching and learning with technology, personnel management, and communication. Appointment begins June 2017.
