Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a project manager. Responsibilities include managing medium to large projects for budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation; developing and managing client contacts to secure future work; developing proposals including scope and pricing; and providing project quality control. Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have the following:
a professional degree in architecture, engineering, or other related field from an accredited college or university
at least 5 years of relevant technical experience
at least 2 years of project management in the building consulting industry
if no degree, must have at least 13 years of relevant experience including technical work and managing projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in building consulting with any/all of the following: managing medium to large projects; working on and/or managing government and/or private projects; working directly with clients, including marketing to obtain future work; managing project invoices and accounts receivable; proposal development; experience with quality control; mentoring less experienced staff. Professional license in architecture or engineering is a plus.
