We have an immediate opening for a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage all aspects of assigned inpatient and outpatient cardiac drug and device trials, adhering to GCP/ICH guidelines and following FDA regulations at all times.
This is a full time position in an outpatient setting. No nights, weekends or on call required.
Specific responsibilities include:
Manage all aspects of initial study communication during trial consideration and work with principal investigator (PI) as directed during contract negotiation.
Coordination of all ongoing trials as well as assigned new trials.
Prescreen candidates in collaboration with PI and primary cardiologist.
Regular and clear communication with patients/families to explain protocols.
Ensure Informed Consent and all related paperwork is signed and dated by all appropriate parties and maintain all regulatory documents with appropriate correspondence.
Maintain consistent and clear communication with providers.
Recognize and interpret abnormal diagnostics, physical and psychological findings to identify serious/non-serious adverse events and report as appropriate.

At least 3 years experience in clinical study coordination; cardiology preferred
Prior clinical experience; RN preferred
ACRP coordinator certification a plus
Bachelors degree preferred
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the research trials
Knowledge of regulatory document collection and IRB interaction
Experience using EMR
Self motivated with strong time management skills
