As the Manager of Enterprise Quality and Lean Six Sigma, you will directly focus on Business Operations and Partner Satisfaction initiatives, as well as responsibility for leading Lean Six Sigma improvement teams and projects. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), you will serve as a change agent, internal consultant, and mentor on the application of Lean Six Sigma improvement and analysis tools. You will be assigned simple to complex and cross functional projects with high visibility and impact to optimize the operations of the company to meet the needs and expectations of multiple customers. You will also interact with organizational leadership to stimulate management thinking by posing new ways of doing things and challenge conventional wisdom by demonstrating successful application of new methodologies. You will be analytical, result and process driven by nature, and have the desire and passion for continuous improvements. This position reports to the VP of Data Operations & Enterprise Quality within the Product Engineering team. This position will be located at our headquarters in Portland, OR, candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate.
Your Next Challenge…
Serve as an advisor to leadership to help ensure achievement of the company’s strategies
Work with leadership to help develop strategies tactics and operational activities and provide Business Transformation services to achieve long and short-term objectives
Assist the leadership of operational and strategic evaluations of Continuous Improvement initiatives to achieve operational effectiveness and efficiency
Provide leadership of cross-functional strategic initiatives and provides subject matter expertise and industry best practices related to Continuous Improvement initiatives, including but not limited to: Strategy, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and other business outcomes
Lead a portfolio of Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology or Lean Project Management. Implementing a Corrective Action/Preventative Action process. Managing the pipeline of Continuous Improvement projects
Stimulate change by mentoring, coaching and engaging team members and stakeholders to deliver performance improvement using Lean Six Sigma or Project Management tools, methods and concepts
Scope improvement opportunities, as well as deliver basic Lean Six Sigma or Project Management training.
Oversee the Value Stream Map & subsequent enterprise business process documentation, ensuring the expansion of the enterprise process library, and aligning processes to industry standards
Establish enterprise metrics & reporting
Manage the enterprise six sigma training plan

Serves as an advisor and facilitates end to end approach for development of key change programs in partnership with senior business leaders helping to ensure achievement of the company’s strategies.
Provide critical thinking and influence by helping to link the company’s strategic agenda to the resulting execution plan.
Project Management Skills - Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks; Use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans; manage multiple projects; Experience in Agile SCRUM, Lean Kanban, waterfall or hybrid of these methods.
Ability to provide training and facilitate application of Lean Six Sigma philosophies, principles and techniques and implement new approaches and techniques for process improvement at a level sufficient to facilitate such projects to a measurable, successful conclusion and replicate results.
Ability to establish and maintain effective team and individual work relationships with a wide range of employees, expertise levels, functional groups, and to interact with all levels within the organization.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to present and prepare information related to projects to all levels of the organization.
Ability to adjust and adapt to changing business environment and style shift depending upon situation; Flexible in approach to get the desired results. Business environment include: Sales/Marketing, R&D, Data Analytics, Production and Customer Service for legacy and new systems.
Knowledge with using capabilities and techniques in standard Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Visio), plus experience in using Minitab and/or similar analytical tools.
Education and Experience...
BA/BS in Industrial or Software Engineering or related field study
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with portfolio of documented projects and/or work experience demonstrating utilization of Lean and Six Sigma toolsets within an Information Technology, Financial Services, or primarily transactional business environment.
Must have at least 6 years of Black-Belt practitioner experience; Demonstration of tangible hard savings and/or risk reduction
Business Operations, Software development, service industry experience is a big plus.
Previous experience managing staff, including Enterprise Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma professionals is highly desired.
