In this exciting position the sales and local account manager will serve as an important member of the management team with the primary responsibility towards developing pipeline sufficient to meet annual sales/revenue goals. We are looking for an experienced local sales person with the ability to identify prospects and opportunities for fire protection inspections and services with commercial business, state and local, k-12, universities, federal agencies, and military installations. This position requires an individual that can work in a fast-paced environment, be a multi-task er, highly motivated, and can prospect, cold call, and produce quality leads that result in sales. The principal responsibilities for this position are to generate sales/revenue from lead sources and to develop new clients within the State and Local agencies, Education System, Federal Agencies and Military installations for our service solutions. Interfacing and establishing relationships with strategic partners, customer end users, and procurement personnel (State and Local Purchasing, Contracting Officers & Contracting Officers Technical Representative). Establishing and managing execution of goals including, preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline development and management. Work closely and build rapport with local office management team.
Prospecting, cold calling, and producing self-generated quality leads in the State and Local, K-12, Universities, Federal and Military markets
Communication of activities and opportunities on a weekly and monthly basis to management
Meeting and exceeding revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis
Pipeline development/management and forecasting of sales
An ability to differentiate the value of our services in a competitive environment

Must have a valid & current driver's license and a good driving record.
Must have or be able to obtain TN & KY state licenses.
Must be able to work independently and also as part of a team.
Able to work flexible hours including weekends when required.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in outside sales
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
Proven track record in new sales, ability to meet and exceed individual sales targets on a consistent basis
Experience working multiple strategic accounts
Ability to multitask and make good decisions
Strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines
Experience selling services is strongly desired
Strong working knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Able to interact and correspond to customers in person and/or writing in a professional manner.
Periodically attend seminars or similar education/training sessions to stay abreast of latest technology, codes, and standards changes.
Must be drug free - We are a drug free workplace. - Must have a clean background in order to work at secure customer sites.
