The program involves a diverse faculty in virtually every biomedical and clinical discipline. The NIH Clinical Pharmacology Training Program is only open to United States Citizens and permanent residents and is limited to fellows who have a M.D. or equivalent degree. This formal research training program is designed to prepare candidates for a career in either an academic medical center environment, in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or in regulatory science.
