Florida Atlantic University's College of Medicine is recruiting for an Academic Medicine Faculty, Boca Raton, FL.
The position will involve clinical work in the outpatient setting, including opportunities for teaching residents and students. Faculty with expertise in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine outpatient services may apply. This position is intended for faculty with major effort in clinical service and innovation in primary care, with additional opportunities in clinical teaching, research, and scholarship. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified applicants. The specific teaching roles are flexible and may include a combination of direct teaching, developing instructional materials, student and resident advising, curriculum design, assessment of student and resident performance, and other roles as determined by the developing needs of the College of Medicine. Collaboration with other faculty and residents on research and scholarship projects is an important aspect of this position.

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution and credentials that merit appointment at the rank of assistant professor or higher. Board certification from an accredited board of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required. Applicants must have teaching experience with students and/or residents, experience with organization of outpatient practices, and scholarly productivity.
In addition to clinical and teaching experience, candidates who have experience and expertise in outpatient clinic medical leadership and administration, clinical trials, quality improvement, and/or evidence-based medicine training curricula will be most competitive.
The preferred candidate has an interest in providing outpatient primary care in an academic setting.
The ability to effectively communicate with different members of the healthcare system as well as a variety of learners from diverse backgrounds is required.
