Postdoctoral Researcher position is available at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Research Focus and Summary of Position:
The Olmez lab is looking for a highly self-motivated postdoctoral researcher to study on neural stem cell related projects.
The researcher will work on projects related to the physiology of neural stem cells, reprogramming, and differentiation with an emphasis on the energy metabolism. The researcher should be comfortable with immunofluorescence microscopy, IHC, and mouse studies. Those with experience in neuroscience are especially encouraged to apply. Previous experience in proteomics is a plus.
In addition to adopting, implementing and developing laboratory methods, the researchers are expected to participate in grant writing and train staff in basic and advanced laboratory techniques.
The Olmez lab has access to all the shared resources to assist with experiments, including but not limited to Biostatistics, Microscopy, Pathology, Medicinal Chemistry, Genomics and Proteomics.
