This Patient Safety & Medical Manager Home, Manager will be responsible for:
Ensures the overall effectiveness of the Pediatric Physician’s Organization at Children’s (PPOC) Patient Safety & Medical Home Program.
Leading institutional patient safety and medical home improvement activities, advises on policy matters related to patient safety and medical home, assures adherence to organizational policies and procedures, and provides management and oversight of assigned patient safety and medical home staff.
Performs the duties of a Patient Safety & Medical Home Manager reports to the PPOC Director of Quality Measurement and Improvement.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline with four to five years of clinical experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and experience in a pediatric academic quality or patient safety and medical home environment is preferred.
Work requires the leadership skills to manage a diverse work force within a complex healthcare system to ensure adherence to policies and procedures and eliminate harm.
Work requires the analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in?depth, cross?functional experienced?based knowledge including synthesis of various data sources.
Work requires proven interpersonal skills including facilitating clinical teams, conflict resolution and change management.
Work requires frequent written and verbal reports including case reviews, synthesis of information, and presentation of findings in a timely manner to meet reporting time frames.
