Cochlear is an ASX100 listed medical device company and global market-leader in implantable hearing devices. For over 30 years, Cochlear has delivered numerous 'world firsts' in hearing technology and reached a major milestone in early FY18, selling its 500,000th implant.
Cochlear is seeking a dynamic and experienced clinical researcher to lead its worldwide clinical operations from its headquarters in Sydney in the new role of Global Head of Clinical Operations.
The Global Head of Clinical Operations represents the company with respect to clinical research execution globally and is responsible for ensuring that processes are effectively established, maintained and prioritized so that Cochlear’s studies are executed in a disciplined, consistent, high quality and compliant manner to meet the company’s patient engagement, regulatory and commercial objectives.
The Global Head of Clinical Operations is an integral contributor to Cochlear’s operational and strategic future. Candidates must be comfortable participating in and leading the daily operational objectives as well as advancing the clinical programme to meet the company’s strategic direction.
It is expected that the Global Head of Clinical Operations will work seamlessly with the Global Head of Clinical Affairs and other discipline leaders to execute the company’s pre-market and post-market company sponsored clinical research programme in order to advance cochlear implants as the standard of care for people with severe to profound hearing loss.
