University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine Seeks Outstanding Candidates for Full-time Clinical Faculty in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
We are seeking a full-time employee on a non-tenure-track appointment with full benefits and rank commensurate with the candidate’s training and experience. The successful candidate will be a Board-certified DO or MD and be eligible for Maine State Licensure. Successful candidates would excel in medical education and possess a diverse skill set adaptable to multiple learning environments including instruction in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
Teaching of medical students within the college through lecture, module preparation, small group experiences, and in clinical settings.
Precepting medical students within the clinic, by giving formal and informal clinical instruction and supervision.
Participating in and serving on committees within the college and the university.
Helping with the development of the educational programs of the department and give curricular input to the courses in such a way as to maintain academic standards and quality within the educational programs.
Participating in quality educational/academic, clinical, or basic science research (encouraged but not required).
