New York State provider of professional medical liability insurance seeks a Risk Management Consultant for the Buffalo, NY region. The Risk Management Consultant works closely with insured facilities, physicians, dentists, and other providers of healthcare, to coordinate and implement the loss prevention services offered through the company’s risk management program. Develop live and online Continuing Medical Education for physicians and other healthcare providers
Identify areas of liability exposure
Develop recommendations to minimize loss
Write articles and case studies for publication in the company’s newsletters
Perform surveys of facilities and office practices
Assist with a variety of Risk Management Department projects
Medical and dental insurance

An RN with paralegal training is an ideal fit
Must maintain a valid driver’s license as extensive travel within New York State is required
