Neurobehavioral Systems is recruiting a post-doctoral fellow in cognitive neuroscience to assist in developing improved cognitive, neurological, and sensory tests with the goal of identifying older individuals at risk of accelerated cognitive decline. The research is supported by a 4-year SBIR grant from the NIH with the goal of forming a subsidiary to commercialize the tests that are developed.
Supervise the collection and analysis of data from cognitive tests.
Develop innovative methods to analyze behavioral data and video and audio recordings.
Analyze data, present results at scientific meetings, and publish manuscripts.
Manage grant performance targets.
Developing sales and marketing strategies for product commercialization
Assist with FDA product approval.
Ph. D in neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology or related discipline.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a strong publication record.
Expertise in experimental design.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience managing human subject recruitment and behavioral testing.
Proficiency in computer programming (Python, Matlab, Linux, and/or R).
Anticipated start date: Spring, 2019.
