Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, are recruiting junior to mid-level faculty withinterests in Palliative Care to join the Division of Medical Oncology, that could complement and expand growing programs in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The successful candidate will be able to provide clinical expertise to patients and their families, be a resource for health care providers, and participate in research and teaching programs. He/she provides inpatient Palliative Care consultation to medical teams, patients and families, as well as nursing, social services, and spiritual care staff. Palliative Care Physicians should demonstrate exemplary and compassionate clinical skills and embrace a collaborative interdisciplinary team approach. Candidate should be board eligible for Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. degree with training in palliative care. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
