Solid and proven experience as a Quality or Process Engineer
CNC knowledge, process design, and fixture design
Skilled in a CNC Machining Environment within a Lean Culture
TS/IATF 16949 Automotive and ISO 9001 Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering from a four-year college and 3+ years of work experience as a Quality Engineer or 10+ years of work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
Job Requirements (Solid and Proven Experience):
Resolve technical problems affecting the quality of parts and lead continuous improvement activities identified in the Quality Improvement Plan.
Validate the installation of new processes or equipment and the Engineering Changes in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers (FMEA’s, Cp, Cpk, PPM)
Provide technical assistance to operatives on product and/or process related issues and use of control equipment (CMM, roundness, thread form and associated software)
Train operatives/staff on Quality tools to deliver optimum quality performance (SPC, FMEA)
Control ongoing SPC production data and ensure specifications are met and capabilities are maximized
