The Clinical Risk Analyst works closely with colleagues to preserve the assets of the organization and promote a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
As the Clinical Risk Analyst at Asante you will have the opportunity to:
Provide oversight and guidance on clinical risk related events
Maintain a systematic process for tracking and trending safety events
Ensure that the assessment, identification, evaluation, reporting and follow up on risk management activities include timely reporting of serious safety events to Asante leadership.
Bachelor' degree in a clinical health area such as nursing
Master's degree in a health-related field preferred
Knowledge of federal regulations regarding patient rights related to grievances preferred
RN : Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing
Certification as risk manager (ARM, CPHRM, CPCU, or CSP) CPHRM issued by the American Hospital Association will be required to maintain position after the first year
Ability to analyze data for risk management implications.
Excellent organization skills for process improvement and coordination
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with all levels of staff and motivate others
Capable of handling diverse activities in a fast paced environment

Three years' experience in one or more of the following fields: risk management, quality management, quality improvement, health information management, healthcare or business administration, legal support, or insurance claims investigation and settlement or patient care
Broad knowledge of healthcare regulations including The Joint Commission or DNV, state and federal
Experience in quality, patient safety or risk management preferred
Experience with human factors analysis, root and apparent cause analysis, common cause coding and trending, just culture and high reliability organizations preferred
