The City of Elk Grove is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to provide needed oversight and project management for the construction of capital improvement projects for a variety of project types including: Roadway, Bridge, Drainage, Traffic, and Facility.
This position will oversee numerous consultant contracts for the construction of capital projects and should have experience in construction management and contract administration. The incumbent should also have experience in project management, consultant management, and grant management. This is an advanced journey level position in the registered engineer series and reports to the Public Works Division Manager.
Education/Training: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a closely related field.Four years of progressively responsible experience in professional engineering work including project management experience.
