The Manager, Continuous Improvement is responsible for leading complex organizational continuous improvement and lean activities across Pharmavite's Supply Chain and other enterprise functions. This role is expected to generate financial impact of $10M+ for the entire enterprise by leading all supply chain cost savings activities and conducting systematic analyses across the entire enterprise to find opportunities in the areas of cost reduction, working capital improvement, productivity gains, and enhancements of throughput. Leads multiple teams and creates metrics and program governance to ensure sustainable results. Subject matter expert in process and Focused Improvement efforts, both leading events and training others on facilitation techniques and Focused Improvement process. Responsible for the development of key Supply Chain and Enterprise dashboards to monitor the health of existing processes. Manages team of Continuous Improvement Site Leaders and Program Manager across Pharmavite locations.

Critical contributions this role will deliver:
Managing staff across multiple locations to deliver the department's strategy, operating plan and short-term objectives. Collaboratively creating development plans and coaching individuals in achieving them. Working within the people management systems in the Company to develop others (performance management, rewards and selection process).
Coach direct and indirect reports on performance/results management (PDCA) thought process.
Identifies and quantifies business improvement and profitability opportunities throughout Pharmavite and supports on-going operational excellence.
Manages the prioritization and planning for operational improvement and profitability opportunities throughout the year.
Provides overall project planning and management support across the Operations organization.
Supports annual planning and budgeting activities.

At the same time, you enjoy working with and motivating others to success -- regardless of reporting lines, and are comfortable operating with senior management.
You'll be most successful in this role if you have:
Demonstrated leadership of large cross-functional initiatives around loss elimination activities from an influence position.
Deep expertise determining and implementing Lean concepts and strategies that support and deliver business requirements; particularly TPM implementations.
Proven yourself as a strategic business partner and thought leader across the Supply Chain around capability building and sequencing of loss elimination efforts, internal consultant to peers and leaders.
Ability to rapidly dissect complex business problems and develop actionable plans.

In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:
10 or more years experience in supply chain or related Operations management positions.
Extensive experience implementing Lean manufacturing or similar continuous improvement concepts, previous TPM (including AM and FI) experience preferred.
Previous experience managing a team of direct reports.
Comprehensive knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles and processes.
Four year college or university degree or its equivalent in supply chain or related field. An MBA is strongly preferred.
APICS, TPM and Six Sigma Black belt are preferred. Additional valued certifications include: PMP, Lean, HACCP, Better Process School.
