UCSF FRESNO ACADEMIC GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGIST OPPORTUNITY CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are recruiting for a Gynecologic Oncology faculty member. At the time of hire, the applicant must have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship program, be board certified or eligible and must be eligible to obtain a California Medical License or already be licensed in the State of California. UCSF Fresno, a regional campus of the University of California, San Francisco, features eight independent residency programs and is a major teaching site for UCSF medical students. Our partnering healthcare provider Community Medical Centers operates four hospitals and outpatient facilities. In the summer of 2018, CMC’s Clovis Community Medical Center will open a new 100,000 square foot Cancer Center. This center will bring comprehensive outpatient cancer services under one roof including imaging, radiation and chemotherapy. The Cancer Center will have the newest version of CyberKnife, the latest in digital imaging, CR and MRI scanners and space for up to four linear accelerators for radiation treatment. The cancer center will also have the only second all-digital PED/CT scanner in California. The residency programs major participating hospital Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the only tertiary referral and level 1 trauma center in the region, has a state of the art Emergency Department, CyberKnife, 84 bed level III NICU, 21 bed L & D with 3 dedicated ORs and dual console da Vinci Robot surgical system. We care for a wide variety of interesting patients including a large volume of high-risk obstetrics and challenging gynecologic surgical cases. The position involves teaching of both residents and medical students and providing clinical services at our affiliated facilities including the Cancer Center. This candidate must be committed to teaching, scholarly activity, and excellence in clinical care. Compensation is very competitive including a productivity bonus and UCSF faculty appointments are commensurate with the applicant’s background and accomplishments.

Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) is an organization of faculty physicians and staff who have one stated purpose....to "Make Medical Education Happen." CCFMG is a medical group affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco Fresno Medical Education Program. Formed in 1979, CCFMG currently has over 200 physicians who are both full time and part time, as well as an administrative staff that is responsible for billing, contracting, compliance, information services, human resources, and practice management for the group.
