The Department of Pediatrics at NYU School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist for a faculty position at the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital of New York at NYU Langone. Responsibilities include teaching of medical students and pediatric residents and participation in hospital-related administrative, research and/or quality improvement initiatives. The individual will provide comprehensive care in a brand new, single room acute care medical surgical unit with trainees as well as full term and late preterm newborns in our level 1 Nursery with over 6000 deliveries/year. The individual will join our expanding Pediatric Hospital Medicine group which actively engages in medical education, quality improvement, research and operations.
The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Pediatrics, possess outstanding clinical skills, hold current NY licensure, PALS and NRP certification. We strongly prefer candidates with at least two years experience, fellowship training, and/or additional expertise.
