Agricultural and biological engineering - College of the Ozarks invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in agricultural and biological engineering starting in August 2019.In support of our young and growing multidisciplinary engineering program, the successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach courses across the range of agricultural and biological engineering topics and assist with teaching core engineering topics as well as other topics according to interests and expertise such as civil and manufacturing engineering. Additional duties include advising students, supporting senior design projects, working on projects with regional industry, and participating in student design competitions.
The preferred start date is no later than August 1, 2019.
The position requires an M.S. or Ph.D. in agricultural or biological engineering or a related field, and a self-motivated, versatile individual with strong classroom teaching skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with other faculty members. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D., a P.E. license, and have industry experience in the fields of agricultural, biological, or related areas. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
