This person will train operators on quality aspects,
document processes and procedures for new products,
work on quality and training issues for the molding area,
create in process inspection plans based on customer requirements,
create certification of compliance forms
other duties as required to meet departmental expectations.
1-year technical college in precision inspection and/or 2-3 years experience based on experience,
GD&T knowledge (reading and interpreting drawings),
Basic SPC knowledge,
Knowledge with PPAP and FAIR
Utilizing and reading of both digital and dial inspection equipment,
Experience with hand tool quality equipment i.e. gage blocks, plug gages, etc.,
CMM, Vision System, and Optical Comparator experience preferred.
Basic math skills required. Basic statistics and trig skills preferred.
