San Luis Valley Health is seeking a full-time Director of Risk and Quality Management to oversee and manage program components that include risk management, quality improvement, patient safety, infection control, and utilization review. In this position, the Director serves as a resource to departments for process improvement, regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and program development to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality patient care services. This position offers competitive wages, a wonderful working environment, and Director-level benefits which include an annual variable pay bonus, monthly cell phone stipend, and a higher PTO accrual rate.
A qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and minimum five years’ experience working in risk management or process/quality improvement. Preferred qualifications include licensed RN in the State of Colorado or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) from the American Hospital Association.
