Reporting centrally to the Director, Quality Systems Improvement, this role is responsible for the coordination, assessment, process improvement, and support for all quality assurance and performance improvement activities of the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Program, adult and pediatrics. Duties to include, but not limited to: data management, performance improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsible for assisting the Program Director and Program Manager with integrating program quality efforts across program components.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Science or related field required.
3 to 5 years of experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
Ability to establish, implement and audit using FACT, CIBMTR, FDA and other regulatory requirements and standards.
Ability to apply quality management/performance improvement and customer service approaches.
Experience using database technology and Electronic Medical Record system in a medical facility, Oncology/BMT.
Demonstrated attention to detail in producing accurate and high-quality deliverables.
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and multi-task under tight deadlines with little oversight.
Registered Nurse preferred.
Previous experience in Oncology clinical healthcare setting preferred.
Previous experience in transplantation, quality and/or transplant quality assessment and performance improvement or FACT preferred.
