The Risk Manager RN functions as a representative of the Quality and Risk Team by identifying, monitoring, evaluating, educating, and making recommendations for improving processes affecting the prevention and reduction of risks to patients, staff, and visitors. The Risk Manager RN is responsible for incident report review and follow-up, including submission of SBARs to the RCA Advisors and leading causal analyses. The Risk Manager RN collaborates and participates in other improvement processes as required, and serves as a resource to the Network.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical and/or healthcare related experience required
For the Behavioral Health role, inpatient behavioral health RN experience is highly preferred; will consider RNs with outpatient behavioral health RN experience
Healthcare risk management experience preferred
Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing
Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
Valid and current Indiana Registered Nurse license
Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred; must be obtained within 3 years of employment
