This is an opportune time for a strategic and forward-thinking candidate to collaborate with hospital senior leadership and implement a best-in-class Center’s quality and safety program and to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation.

This is a rare opportunity to build an infrastructure serving the quality, regulatory, and patient safety needs of the Center from a clinical, occupational, financial, regulatory, strategic, technological, and research perspective that will fill a vital need and have significant impact on the quality of care delivery and health outcomes of this population. The Director, Quality and Patient Safety will have access to the rich experiences of Moffitt’s extensive programs and high-quality and diverse medical staff.
The successful candidate will be a confident leader with the maturity, integrity, knowledge, and cultural sensitivity to inspire, develop and advance collaborative relationships with the community and community hospital partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in improving socio-economic disparities and community health.
Master's Degree (Nursing, Business, or other related health services related field) – REQUIRED
PhD (Nursing) – PREFERRED
Licensure / Certification(s):
Registered Nurse (RN) or other clinical licensure – REQUIRED
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – REQUIRED
Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP) -OR- Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP) – PREFERRED
