The Department of Environmental Science at Baylor University seeks an outstanding environmental health scientist at the rank of full professor to join our dynamic and growing faculty in pursuing essential research questions that address the strategic goals of our university. Candidates with expertise in water quality, antibiotic resistance, climate change and health, parasitology, immunotoxicology, multiple stressors, environmental health engineering, sanitation and hygiene, are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have established and will maintain a rigorous externally funded research program; mentor doctoral students through the Ph.D. in Environmental Science; engage undergraduate students; teach environmental science courses; and contribute to public health efforts across campus, including a new Master of Public Health concentration in Environmental Health Science. Applicants must have a doctoral degree and a proven research record. We encourage applicants who plan to develop collaborations with faculty in Environmental Science and in allied departments from the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Health and Human Sciences.
