K&S Manufacturing is a privately held, financially sound and growing company. Due to increased internal demand, we are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team.
K&S is a performance-based company with clearly stated goals and objectives in place to drive continued success. Our infrastructure is primed to support continued growth and expansion through: laser cutting, brake forming, robotic and manual welding, stamping, machining, and tool and die.
Position Overview -
Perform a variety of duties to determine that materials, products and/or processes are in accordance with specifications and requirements in an ISO certified environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position reports to the Quality Manager. In this position you will monitor product
quality, perform auditing materials and processes, perform failure and routine analysis and
use a variety of precision measuring instruments and test equipment.
Requires minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Technician, preferably within a manufacturing setting. Basic knowledge of computers, Windows environment including basic Microsoft applications and Macola Software with an Accent on Gage Calibration software. Excellent organizational and communication skills in a team setting across departments. Ability to interpret blueprints with knowledge of GD&T. Understanding/following ISOrequirements/procedures including advanced knowledge of ISO 9001, PPAP Process and Capability Study experience is a must including documentation submission. Import inspection data from theCMM via Inspection expert. Must be able and willing conduct site, dock and workstations audits.
