Scientific Director, US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) The incumbent serves as the Scientific Director for the USPSTF program within AHRQ's Center for Evidence and Practice Improvement (CEPI), with responsibility for supervising a professional staff, setting the strategic direction for the Division; developing, executing and managing the Division budget; and providing leadership and direction for prevention activities at AHRQ.
The successful candidate is a national leader with both clinical skills related to the delivery of preventive services in primary care settings, and the research skills to oversee systematic reviews of the evidence supporting clinical preventive services. The incumbent will provide overall direction for the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force program and for prevention-related activities at the Agency. Overall, the Scientific Director will have a major impact on national recommendations for preventive services delivered in primary care settings and on the national agenda for health services research related to prevention.

Additional Salary Information: When applicable requirements are met, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through Physicians Comparability Allowance (PCA) for up to $30,000 per year.
