Vulcan GMS, a world-class company in security and medical field is expanding and seeks an experienced Quality Engineer. As a technical leader, the quality engineer is responsible leading the design and development of the manufacturing quality process to ensure customer quality requirements are met. As a report to the quality team, this individual leads the quality design, quality methods and corrective action processes.

Requires

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field – Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical
• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Working experience with Lean/Six Sigma strategies
• Proficient using Microsoft office suites (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point, etc.)
• Ability to use CAD program such as solid works
• Ability to analyze large amounts of information
• Clear understanding of drawings, layouts and GD&T
• Critical thinking & decision making
