Porex Corporation has an opening for a Strategic Market Manager, Liquid Handling. Job functions include, but are not limited to:
Setting strategic direction and tactics for growing in the liquid handling market.
Developing global business plan that defines industry trends, economics [willingness to pay and cost to serve], competitive dynamics, and development of all go-to-market approaches including channel, positioning, pricing and promotion.
Manage stages of the product portfolio life cycle from introduction of expansion products through profit optimization
Identify, connect and build rapport with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) throughout the value chain in the liquid handling market to gain key insights that drive adoption of Porex offerings.
Analyze trends, new to market products and competitors to ensure proper differentiation, positioning and selling of Porex offerings.
Building programs to increase sales leads globally, including development of target customer lists by product/application for business growth and competitor differentiation.
Developing complete market launch plans for expansion products and expanding the customer base including sales implementation plan and follow-up measurement approach.
Working with price and value management team to provide global value-based pricing principles and frameworks for assigned segments.
Developing sales and marketing support materials to increase sales effectiveness including but not limited to value propositions, product launch programs, internal and external presentations, sales tools, white papers and industry interactions in assigned product areas.
Working closely with marketing communications, sales enablement and sales leaders to build prove and articulate value proposition.
Managing budgets to ensure that projects are completed within agreed targets.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business discipline. MBA preferred. Undergraduate degree or post-graduate degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Medical Technology, Material Science, or Life Sciences a definite plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, marketing, or product management for pipette tip or related product lines. Experience interacting with sales teams and product development teams is important.
