**We are seeking a Manager for QAPI (Quality Assessment and Process Improvement) for the Transplant and VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) Quality and Regulatory Compliance Programs**

The Manager of Transplant: · Develops and manages the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a comprehensive quality assessment and improvement program in the inpatient and outpatient settings for the Transplant Program. · Manages program compliance with CMS, UNOS, JC and other regulatory requirements. · Manages quality support staff including day-to-day supervision, employee relations, and staff development. · Communicate effectively and maintains responsive and effective relationships through collaboration with staff, other departments and external customers. · Responsible for the tracking of quality and performance indicators. · Take the lead in representing the Transplant Program in hospital Quality initiatives.

·3 + years’ experience in hospital-based quality program with focus on quality assessment/improvement and JC and CMS regulatory requirements.
·Experience in development and leadership of regulatory compliance and quality assessment and performance improvement programs in a large and complex acute healthcare environment.
·Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related Health Field. Master’s in nursing, business, or healthcare administration preferred.
·Transplant quality certification within 12 months of certification development. CPHQ or CCTC certification preferred
·Proven Leadership, Interpersonal and Communication skills.
·Excellent knowledge of Joint Commission and ambulatory practice standards and operations. Ability to work independently using excellent judgement, clincial skills and to handle sensitive information in an appropriate manner. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills required. Must be able to manipulate and analyze statistical data. Must be able to work with diverse groups of people and with all levels of personnel within the organization.
