Manage the biomedical product lines sales achieving budgeted objectives. Develop and maintain working relationships with a broad range of key contacts in the assigned industries, targeted accounts and customers. Translate industry and customer requirements into company capabilities. Drive and support continuous product portfolio improvement and adaptation.
Relying on the corporate Biomedical strategy, assist in establishing the local unit annual budgets, and define the commercial strategy (term/month/week/day) to accomplish them.
Shared responsibility for business planning through participation in the budgeting process by providing short and long term sales forecasts. Will have responsibility for managing costs within budgets for assigned industries and targeted accounts and customers.
Develop and maintain industry stakeholders’ relationships relevant for the Biomedical product line strategy.
Manage targeted accounts and customer relationships.
Manage the Biomedical sales pipeline: from identifying new business opportunities at targeted accounts and customers to regular sales, mobilizing personnel and coordinating their activities to effectively achieve success, specifically for field technicians and customer service.
Achieving and exceed sales budgets.
Prioritize sales opportunities in order to achieve the sales growth expected.
Identify technical customer requirements/needs and translate them, with a technical perspective, into ideas to adapt current products or be able to develop new products and applications.
Requires substantial collaboration with Technical Services, R&D, CS, and SCM.
Maintain frequent and effective communication with the service organization to provide clear and accurate instructions, when necessary.
Resolve customer problems and concerns through proactive personal efforts. Develop effective plans to resolve customer problems by effective utilization of internal resources.
Collect information on product performance, market trends, and competitive developments. Prepare reports to keep organization informed.
Maintain knowledge of product profitability and specific product emphasis.
