Establish Corporate Quality assurance systems and programs, developing teams promoting customer satisfaction and positively impact the financial performance of ABCorp NA Inc. Develop, implement and maintain team based Environmental Management (EMS) Quality Management (QMS) and Security Printing Management (SPMS) Systems meeting ISO 9001, 14001, 14298 and Intergraf requirements. Develop, implement and maintain ABCorp’s Supplier Workplace Accountability program meeting. Champion continuous improvement programs and defect reduction initiatives using data driven improvement for performance measurement and risk based decision making. Identify and lead activity and projects (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) improving the performance of processes and product lines. Educate employees as to their potential impact on various management systems.
BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Business Administration. 10 years work experience may be considered in lieu of education in a similar industry or role
10+ years experience in Quality and/or Environmental Management System implementation and management with 5 years as a CQE/CQM in a medium-size manufacturing environment preferably in the plastics or printing industries.
Experience in design/prototype manufacture
Six Sigma black-belt certified with a proven track record of business performance improvement
Able to interact positively and productively with Senior and Executive Leadership across the organization
Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
Experience in designing and implementing Quality and/or Environmental Management systems.
Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong computer skills including quality control applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
Thorough understanding of general safety requirements.
