Must have a minimum of 3 years hospital experience
Certified in Infection Control or obtained within 2 years
* Responsible for coordinating the Infection Control Program which includes daily surveillance; analysis of data; monitoring patient infections; developing reports, policies and procedures; staff education; ensuring adherence to infection control policy and collecting and completing all mandatory and regulatory reporting as required by CMS, CDC, NHSN, Joint Commission and county/state
* Organize Infection Prevention and Control Committee meetings and maintain all meeting minutes
* Participate in infection prevention and control education of employees during orientation and annually thereafter, including just in time training on infection prevention and control practices, isolation protocols, hand hygiene and employee health
