As an Infection Preventionist, you will: - Work directly with the Infection Prevention Director and others to protect patients, providers, employees, visitors and others from risk of infection or disease transmission
- Evaluate and implement a plan for mitigating infection prevention risks throughout the organization
- Serve as a resource to all Kootenai employees and providers regarding infection prevention standards and standard methodologies
- Actively seek opportunities to improve patient and employee safety
- Partner with community organizations to promote health and safety across the region
