Norton Children's Weisskopf Center – Genetics in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible physician in both pediatrics and clinical genetics. The selected candidate will function as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team of professionals that provides clinical genetic, developmental pediatric and laboratory services.The team consists of medical geneticists, genetic counselors, metabolic nutritionists and a coordinator for the newborn screening program. The program maintains national, state and local prominence through its many unique services.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Serve as a University of Louisville School of Medicine faculty member with competence in patient care, teaching and an interest in clinical research
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals in a university center
Have access to dedicated clinical genetic and laboratory services, including cytogenetics, fluorescence in situ hybridization and chromosome microarray analysis
Service general, subspecialty and outreach clinics
Salary and academic rank to be commensurate with experience
