Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Palliative Care Physician to join our expanding Division of Palliative Care in the Department of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center. As a fast growing division, we are seeking a full time Palliative Care physician who is highly energetic, academically oriented, motivated, and collegial. With growth present in both the research and education front, we seek someone committed to Academics and helping our Division, and our Hospital, fulfill our mission.

As an academic medical center, Tufts has a tripartite mission to provide the best clinical care, conduct groundbreaking research, and educate the next generation of clinicians and healthcare leaders. The Division of Palliative Care fulfills this mission, enlisting the skills of an interdisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, physical and respiratory therapists and case managers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Direct clinical care on the inpatient and/or outpatient consultation service.

• Teaching at Tufts University School of Medicine and at the Medical Center

• Build and support palliative care and symptom management services in ambulatory settings at Tufts Medical Center

• Participate in research opportunities in palliative care and other related fields
