Open Rank Faculty Positions(s) Tenure/Non-Tenure Track Opportunities Population Health Research Institute MetroHealth/Case Western Reserve University We invite outstanding individuals (PhDs, DrPH or MDs) to apply for new faculty positions at any rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Professor) in the Population Health Research Institute (PHRI). PHRI is working on initiatives that understand and promote population health in collaboration with payers, policymakers, health care institutions, The MetroHealth System operations, and Case Western Reserve University. PHRI's vision is to lead the way to a healthy, thriving, equitable community and nation through actionable research, education and collaboration. PHRI consists of three Centers: The Center for Clinical Informatics, Research, and Education (CCIRE); the Center for Reducing Health Disparities (CRHD); and The Center for Health Care Research and Policy (CHRP). These 3 centers are supported by a Division of Biostatistics and Data Sciences, and are renowned for community engaged participatory research, statewide and regional policy relevant implementation science, clinical informatics research, and social context of care. PHRI partners with payers, policymakers, health care organizations, academic universities, and the community to accomplish our aims and have a greater impact. We work closely with our Population Health Innovations Institute within The MetroHealth System where innovative approaches to improving population health can be deployed and evaluated. We seek faculty members with an interest in population health research broadly across the life spectrum, including primary and specialty care, economics, psychology, decision science, informatics, data science, gerontology, sociology, and health services research. We especially welcome interests in informatics, disparities, cancer prevention and management, trauma and implementation science. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong program of high-quality extramurally-funded population health research in their area of focus. PHRI faculty members actively contribute to an environment that values diversity and nurtures collaboration, creativity, and innovation. Ample opportunities exist to benefit from new interdisciplinary collaborations across the MHS, CWRU and other health systems in the region. The new faculty will also have the opportunity to advance and extend existing relationships to multiple departments in the hospital and the University. Clinical responsibilities will be based on candidate interests and MHS clinical needs if the candidate has a clinical degree. Teaching opportunities can be discussed based on candidate interests. Required Qualifications Applicants should have a Ph.D., DrPH, M.D., and/or D.O degree or equivalent and a strong record of scholarly activity. Academic rank will be determined based on record of experience.
